Terms

Clear terms for using Quinbis.

These terms explain the main rules for using quinbis.com, the Quinbis App, Setup and Design services.

Last updated: 16 September 2026
Agreement and scope Accounts and workspaces Setup, Design and App Pricing, payments and refunds Your responsibilities Content and rights Third parties, reminders and Insights Documents and records Availability and ending services Complaints, law and changes

These are the general terms for Quinbis. A package, quote, order, project scope, checkout or Quinbis App feature may include additional terms. If a specific service term clearly conflicts with these general terms, the specific term applies to that service, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

1. Agreement, authority and scope

By using quinbis.com, creating or using a Quinbis account, using the Quinbis App, submitting a service request or asking Quinbis to provide a service, you agree to these Terms to the extent they apply to that use.

If you act for a business or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it and to provide the information you submit to Quinbis.

Quinbis Ltd may provide software, business setup support, design services, reminders, educational content and related tools. The exact scope of a paid service is the scope shown in the relevant package, quote, checkout, order, project brief or other written confirmation.

Some services depend on information, documents, approvals, platforms, regulators or actions outside Quinbis. Timelines can change when those dependencies change.

2. Accounts, workspaces and access

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials, devices and one-time codes secure. Do not share passwords or verification codes with anyone claiming to be Quinbis support.

If a business owner or authorised administrator invites staff or other people into a workspace, that owner or administrator is responsible for deciding who should have access, assigning appropriate permissions and removing access when it is no longer needed.

Actions taken by an authorised workspace member within the permissions granted to that person may affect the business records in that workspace.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or systems, investigate misuse, address non-payment, comply with law or respond to a material breach of these Terms.

3. Setup, Design and Quinbis App services

Setup services

Quinbis can help prepare, organise and submit information for business-registration, trademark or related setup work included in the agreed scope. A government agency or other third party makes its own decisions about name availability, registration, approval, acceptance and processing time. Quinbis cannot guarantee a particular government or third-party outcome or deadline.

You are responsible for reviewing information supplied for a filing and confirming that it is accurate before submission where approval is requested from you.

Design services

Design deliverables, revisions, timelines, source files and any ongoing creative support are governed by the package, quote or project scope. Delayed feedback, missing materials, additional requests or changes after approval may affect the timeline or require a revised scope.

Quinbis App

The Quinbis App is a practical business record and decision-support tool. It is not an accounting system, audited bookkeeping service, bank, investment service or substitute for professional legal, tax or accounting advice.

Calculations such as business cash, Safe to Spend, profit views, stock positions, reminders and Insights depend on the records entered into the App and the rules used by the relevant feature. You remain responsible for reviewing important records and decisions before relying on them.

4. Pricing, payment, cancellation and refunds

Prices shown on the website apply to the package or starting scope described. If the work changes, extra work, third-party charges, government fees or other out-of-scope costs may be quoted separately before they are added.

Where VAT applies, website prices are shown VAT-inclusive for the stated package or starting scope, with the relevant breakdown provided at checkout, invoice or receipt where applicable.

Online checkout may be provided by Paystack. Paystack processes the payment details entered on its checkout and returns transaction information needed for Quinbis to confirm and reconcile the payment.

Payment timing, commencement of work, revisions, delivery, cancellation and refund terms for a specific service may be shown at checkout, in the package, quote or project confirmation. Please review them before approving or paying for the service.

Nothing in these Terms removes a cancellation, remedy, refund or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 or other applicable law. If a service materially fails to meet the agreed standard or scope, contact Quinbis so the issue can be reviewed and an appropriate remedy considered.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge, review important details before approval and use Quinbis lawfully.

If you enter or upload personal information about another person - for example a director, shareholder, staff member, customer or contact - you are responsible for ensuring that you are authorised or otherwise legally permitted to provide that information for the relevant purpose.

You must not use the website, account or Quinbis App to:

  • break the law, violate another person's rights or facilitate fraud;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts or data;
  • introduce malware, abusive automation or other harmful code;
  • misrepresent your identity, authority, business records or filing information;
  • upload material you do not have the right to use or share;
  • interfere with the operation, security or availability of Quinbis.

6. Content, brand and intellectual-property rights

Quinbis owns or licenses the website, Quinbis App software and interface, brand assets, written content, templates and other materials we provide, except where a different owner is identified.

You may use Quinbis only for its intended purpose. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Quinbis software, brand or underlying platform to you.

You retain rights in information and materials you provide to Quinbis. You give us permission to use them only as reasonably needed to provide the requested service, operate the account, maintain security, comply with law or exercise rights under the relevant agreement.

Rights in Design deliverables, source or working files, fonts, stock assets, software and other third-party materials are governed by the relevant project scope and applicable third-party licences. A third-party licence remains subject to its own terms.

7. Third-party services, reminders and Insights

Quinbis may link to or work with government portals, Paystack, Google, email or hosting providers, browser notification services and other third parties. Their independent services are governed by their own terms and policies. Quinbis is not responsible for a third party's independent availability, decisions, outages or policy changes.

Reminders and notifications

Quinbis reminders are designed to help you keep track of business tasks and deadlines. They do not transfer responsibility for a filing, payment, stock action, customer follow-up or legal deadline to Quinbis. You should verify important statutory dates and requirements with the relevant authority where needed.

Push notifications, browser notifications and emails can be affected by device settings, browser permissions, connectivity, email delivery systems and third-party infrastructure. We do not guarantee that every reminder will reach every device or inbox.

Insights and educational content

Quinbis Insights and other educational content are general business information. They are not a substitute for legal, tax, accounting, investment or other professional advice tailored to your circumstances.

Where a decision depends on a law, filing requirement, tax treatment, contract or regulated requirement, confirm the current position with the relevant authority or an appropriately qualified adviser.

8. Documents, records and availability

Quinbis may keep completed documents and final deliverables in your account so they remain easy to find and download. We aim to provide long-term access to ordinary completed service documents without a separate document-storage charge.

You should keep your own copies of important documents. Quinbis does not promise perpetual storage or uninterrupted availability. We may migrate, archive or remove files where reasonably necessary for security, privacy, legal, regulatory, operational or service-continuity reasons.

Working files, temporary files and identity or verification material can have shorter retention periods than completed documents. The Privacy Notice explains the main retention approach.

Business records entered into the Quinbis App remain dependent on the information you record. You should review records that matter to your business and keep any separate records required by law or your professional advisers.

9. Availability, suspension, ending services and responsibility

Quinbis may improve, replace, add or remove website or App features from time to time. Availability can vary because of maintenance, security work, third-party outages or other operational conditions, and we do not promise uninterrupted access to every feature.

You may stop using the website or App at any time. Rules for ending a paid project, service or subscription depend on the terms shown or agreed for that service and any mandatory rights that apply.

Quinbis may suspend or end a service where reasonably necessary for non-payment, misuse, security risk, legal requirements or a material breach of these Terms. Where practical and appropriate, we will provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Quinbis will use reasonable care in providing its services. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Quinbis is not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate information supplied by you, an independent third party's decision or failure, events outside reasonable control, or a decision made solely from general educational content or an unverified App record.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right, remedy or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Nigerian law.

10. Complaints, governing law and changes

If you have a problem with a Quinbis service, contact us first so we can review the issue and try to resolve it. Questions or complaints about these Terms can be sent through the Quinbis Contact page.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from using a complaint or redress route available under applicable law, including the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission where its jurisdiction applies.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Quinbis, our service model or legal requirements. Material changes will be shown by updating the date on this page and, where appropriate, by providing additional notice. Changes do not remove rights that already accrued under an earlier transaction or agreement.

Build your business with clarity.
